We also collect usage data automatically, such as the languages you translate between, session duration, and general device information (OS version, device model). This helps us improve the accuracy and performance of our AI models.

How We Use Your Information

Your data is used to provide, maintain, and improve the Owll Translator service — including personalizing your translation experience, processing voice clone requests, and generating AI notes.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your voice recordings with third parties. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized before any internal analysis.

Voice Clone Data

Voice recordings submitted for the Voice Clone feature are encrypted in transit and at rest. They are stored only for as long as your Voice Clone profile is active. You may delete your voice profile at any time from within the app, which permanently removes all associated recordings from our servers.

Data Retention

Translation session history is retained for 12 months by default. You may delete individual sessions or your entire history at any time from the app settings. Account data is retained until you request account deletion.

Third-Party Services

Owll Translator uses third-party services for infrastructure and analytics (such as cloud hosting and crash reporting). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.

Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes via email or an in-app notification. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
