Live microphone · text captions

Use this Real-Time Tagalog to English voice translator for a live conversation with captions on screen. The default pair uses Filipino (Philippines), the label shown in the service catalog, and English (US). Both people can take turns in one session, with each language in its own text column. Check the labels, then start the microphone when you are ready.

How to translate Tagalog to English speech

  1. 01

Check the Filipino and English labels

The selector shows Filipino (Philippines) for the Tagalog-side default and English (US) for the other language. If either entry is unavailable, the page reports it and keeps Start disabled rather than selecting a substitute.

  2. 02

Start after both speakers are ready

Press Start translating and approve the browser's microphone request. Wait for the listening status before speaking. The tool does not start capture when you visit the page or inspect the language picker.

  3. 03

Keep turns clear and check the text

Take turns with short phrases and compare each recognized utterance with its translation. Check important amounts, names, addresses, and times in the original language column before continuing.

Where Tagalog to English captions can help

A family conversation

Use the captions to share an update or make a plan with a relative who prefers the other language. Give each person a clear turn and pause after the translation so both can read the same point.

A quick question during an errand

Ask about an item, a location, or what to do next in one short sentence. Read the reply and translation side by side. Separate quantities and prices from longer explanations, then repeat them if unclear.

Handling English mixed into a turn

People may naturally use words from both languages in the same thought. The page is configured for a selected pair, but it does not promise automatic handling of every code-switched sentence. When a mixed turn is difficult to read, restate the main idea in one selected language and check the new captions.

Tagalog to English voice translator FAQs

01Why does the selector say Filipino?

The current service catalog names its Philippines entry Filipino (Philippines). That is the label shown in the selector for this page’s default language.

02Can people reply in English or Tagalog without restarting?

Yes. After you select the pair, speakers can take turns using either selected language in the same live session. The text columns remain tied to those languages.

03Will it automatically translate every Taglish or mixed-language sentence?

The tool is set to the selected language pair, and it does not promise automatic handling of every language switch within a sentence. For a clearer result, restate the thought in one selected language and check the captions.

04Can I translate a recorded voice note or hear the English result?

No. The browser tool accepts live microphone speech after Start and displays text. It does not upload recordings or play translated speech.

05What is included in the current free Web trial?

The Web trial allows up to one cumulative minute per visitor; stopping or refreshing does not restore time already used. The existing app offer is three free days, under the app's current terms.
